Jacqui Bloomberg teaches Latin at Dana Hall in Wellesley, MA.  After chairing the World Languages Department there for fifteen years,  spending time observing teachers in the department, and researching methods of teaching languages, she applied for a half-year sabbatical.  This blog is the journal of her sabbatical.  In Latin-speaking environments, Jacqui goes by Iacoba, and this sabbatical is her journey; therefore, as the Odysseia is the journey of Odysseus, Iacobeia is her journey.
